FORT WAYNE – Parkview Cancer Institute is now a certified member of MD Anderson Cancer Network®, to bring the nation’s leading cancer expertise to patients in our region.
As a certified member, Parkview Cancer Institute met rigorous standards to participate in MD Anderson’s quality improvement and best practices program. As part of the affiliation, the certified physicians of Parkview Cancer Institute will tap into the expertise of MD Anderson and may collaborate with faculty to develop treatment plans for patients.
The program allows caregivers at Parkview to access MD Anderson guidelines for the purpose of diagnosing, treating and elevating the quality of cancer care provided in northeast Indiana.
The Parkview Cancer Institute joins 17 other hospital and health system certified members across 15 states. Parkview joins Community Health Network in Indianapolis and Deaconess Health System in Evansville as the third certified member in Indiana.
