Driver Injured In Crash On I-69

(WATERLOO) - A one vehicle crash injured the driver on Thursday.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says 43 year old David Hunt of Fort Wayne was driving south on I-69 in the area of the 333-mile marker. Deputies say Hunt's trailer began to fishtail, causing the pick up to strike the guardrail on the west side of the interstate.

The truck overturned over the guardrail, ejecting Hunt. The trailer came to rest in the right lane under the County Road 28 overpass, while the pickup ended up on the passenger's side.

Hunt was flown from the scene to an area hospital with neck and abdomen injuries,

Assisting at the scene were the Waterloo Police and Fire Departments, the Indiana State Police and Parkview EMS.
