A New Jersey woman was all smiles as she led state police in a pursuit on the Toll Road Saturday afternoon.
ISP Trooper Matthew Henson spotted a red Honda traveling westbound at high speed near the 105 mile marker west of the Middlebury exit.
As Henson caught up to the vehicle five miles later he activated his lights and siren but the Honda sped up to more than 100 miles per hour.
Henson pulled alongside the vehicle to motion it to pull over but the woman smiled at him and continued to flee.
Another trooper deployed stop sticks near the 81 mile marker and deflated a front tire on the Honda which then pulled over.
36-year-old Temple Jordan was taken to the Elkhart County Jail on felony charges of resisting law enforcement. She was also cited for speeding and driving while suspended.
