A search warrant for a wanted suspect resulted in the arrest of four people.
The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department said in a release they were were notified just before 1 p.m. last Thursday that a Wanted Person, Jeremy W. Tuttle, was at a Hudson residence (11990 E 600 S, Lot 6 Hudson, IN).
Investigative reports indicate that earlier that morning, Tuttle, who is from Stroh, had been seen at the residence and had not been observed leaving the location. Deputies made several attempts to get someone to answer the door, but had no response.
Police then applied for a search warrant of the home, which was granted by a judge.
Further investigation revealed that the homeowner, Mary Dolch, was inside the residence. Also inside was Nathan Ray Harter and Morgan Paige Cusick.
Deputies searched the residence for Tuttle and found a hidden compartment that was concealed in a bedroom of the home. Tuttle was apprehended under the trailer and taken into custody.
Authorities had been looking for Tuttle since last Tuesday after police allege he took them on a small chase. The pursuit began when an officer was attempting to make a traffic stop, at which time Tuttle was the suspected driver of a stolen vehicle last week from Hudson. The vehicle was later found unoccupied, but evidence pointed authorities to Tuttle.
Tuttle was arrested and booked into the LaGrange County Jail for preliminary charges Warrant for Failure to appear (DeKalb County), Resisting Law Enforcement, Theft of an automobile, and Resisting Law Enforcement by fleeing in a motor vehicle.
