(DEKALB COUNTY) – One person was injured in a two collision over the weekend.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says just after 5:30 PM Saturday, 26 year old Emerson Raphael of Indianapolis was driving north on County Road 29, approaching the intersection of County Road 58. A second vehicle, driven by 33 year old Fenly Prosper of Fort Wayne, was driving south on County Road 29, just south of the County Road 58 intersection.
Raphael’s vehicle began to fishtail on the gravel road, crossing the center line and striking the Prosper vehicle head on.
Raphael suffered cuts to his hand and was taken to an area hospital by Parkview EMS. His vehicle is considered a total loss. Prosper was not injured, and his vehicle was also considered a total loss.
The Auburn Fire Department assisted at the scene.
