Beginning on Monday, the railroad crossing at State Road 8 in the city of Auburn, also known as 7th Street will be closed for street work until Monday, August 3rd.
Officials with the Auburn Street Department are advising travelers in the area to use the official detour of I-69 to U.S. 6, to State Route 1 and then back to State Route 8. In addition a local detour of Indiana Avenue to North Street and Grandstaff is also being advised.
