In the city of Angola Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting on Tuesday, approval for a new Verizon Wireless came to the forefront for the tower to be constructed at 3095 North Wayne Street.
The tower will be a 180-foot tall monopole style tower that will require no additional Federal Aviation Administration or Federal Communications Commission lighting as it falls under the height requirement.
The project does have FAA and FCC approval and Verizon is signing a 25-year lease on the tower. The property that the tower will sit on is owned by Doug Dolan of DRA Properties based in Missouri.
