(YORK TOWNSHIP) – A one vehicle accident took the life of an Albion man.
Noble County Sheriff Max Weber says at 4 AM Wednesday, his department responded to a one vehicle crash on Albion Road west of County Road 350 West. Deputies arrived and found an SUV rolled over in the ditch with the driver, 27 year old Cole Delorey, inside.
Delorey was removed from the vehicle and taken to Parkview Noble Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Deputies say their investigation shows that Delorey was traveling west on Albion Road and for an unknown reason drove off the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll over onto its roof. The auto came to rest in the ditch in approximately six inches of water.
Assisting at the scene were the Albion and Ligonier Fire Departments and Noble County EMS.
