(CENTREVILLE) – If you are interested in a career in healthcare or advancing your current career, then plan on being at Glen Oaks CC on March 11.
Glen Oaks will be hosting their annual Healthcare College & Employment Fair on Tuesday, March 11, from 10 AM until 1 PM. The free event will be held on the Grand Concourse and is open to the public. Local and regional employers as well as colleges offering healthcare programs will be in attendance.
Sara Birch, Dean of the Health Science Department at Glen Oaks says this event is a great opportunity for those looking to enter or advance in the healthcare field. Birch says with employers actively hiring and colleges providing pathways to further education, attendees can take meaningful steps toward their career goals.
Event highlights include meeting with over 15 healthcare employers who are hiring for a variety of positions; Speaking with eight colleges and universities about healthcare education opportunities; On-site interviews and conditional hiring are available from select employers; and No registration is required, attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and dress professionally.
Participating Employers Include: Beacon Health System; Birch Meadows Senior Care; Bronson Healthcare Group; Edgewood Nursing and Rehab; Fairview Living Centers; Goshen Health; Insight Coldwater (On-site interviews and conditional hiring); Maple Lawn (On-site interviews available); Michigan Works; Oaklawn Hospital; Optalis Health and Rehab; Parkview Health Systems; St. Joseph County COA; The Waters of LaGrange; Thurston Woods Village and Veterans Health Administration Battle Creek.
Participating Colleges & Universities are Adtalem Education (Chamberlain and Walden Universities); Baker College; Davenport University; Glen Oaks Admissions; Goshen College; Trine University; University of Michigan-Flint Admissions; and Siena Heights University.
