
(ANGOLA) – The Angola Police Department has received some new equipment.
Wednesday the department hosted the sponsors who very generously donated to help them purchase a new LD-1 ballistic armored ATV by TC Burton Enterprises.

Whitmire says the device looks like a little tank. It is a reinforced shell on a Polaris 850 4-wheeler and is designed to be as bullet proof as possible.
Whitmire says the cost of the unit was almost $57,000, and the Police Department went to the community and received several sponsors to help pay for the device.
