DEKALB COUNTY - A large barn fire in rural DeKalb County has reportedly destroyed farming equipment but no animals were harmed.
The fire took place early Wednesday evening in the 3400 block of County Road 18.
The large, thick black clouds of smoke could be seen by many drives on Interstate 69 through DeKalb County.
Multiple agencies were dispatched to the fire as a precaution to protect nearby structures.
More information regarding the total damages estimated and the cause of the fire have not been released by authorities.
