ASHLEY - A New Haven man and former WrestleMania star was arrested for operating while intoxicated on Saturday, September 16.
Authorities state just before 8 p.m. Ashley-Hudson officers were advised of a possible intoxicated driver travelling south on Interstate 69.
Officers located the suspect vehicle and observed it weaving, crossing both the center line and fog line.
During a subsequent traffic stop officers developed probable cause to believe the driver, Zachary J Burnside, 27, of New Haven, IN, was operating while intoxicated.
Burnside consented to a chemical test with a failing result of .259.
He was then charged with level 6 felony operating while intoxicated with a prior conviction, A misdemeanor operating while intoxicated greater than .15, and A misdemeanor operating while intoxicated endangerment.
