GARRETT - A motorcyclist suffered a serve head injury after he collided with a deer just after midnight on Monday, September 18.
Dustin Ramsey, 43, of Garrett was traveling southwest in the 5800 block of S.R. 205 when a deer entered the roadway.
Ramsey attempted an evasive maneuver in an attempt to miss the deer.
He lost control of vehicle one and was ejected from the motorcycle
striking his head on the asphalt causing injury.
The motorcycle continued southwest until coming to rest in the middle of the roadway.
Ramsey was not wearing a helmet was transported for immediate medical assistance.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Garrett Fire Department, Parkview EMS and Tony’s Towing.
