ANGOLA, IN - The 101 Lakes Kiwanis Club is kicking off their annual Pork Loin Cookout fundraiser this weekend.
On Saturday, May 13th, the 101 Lakes Kiwanis Club of Angola will be stationed at the Aspen Dental parking lot on North Wayne Street in Angola. They will be grilling and selling pork loin sandwiches.
Sales will start at 10 a.m.
The annual event is one of the Kiwanis signature events that finances the non-profit and school projects they support.
Karen Shelton of the 101 Lakes Kiwanis says they are a local group "of volunteers, dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time."
Shelton says profits from their fundraising events "enhance the lives of Steuben County youth, as well as Riley Children’s Hospital."
