Saturday, May 6, 2023

INDIANAPOLIS –Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb gave his final stamp of approval this week to the state’s next two-year budget.

The new budget includes big spending on health care, accelerated tax cuts and a increase for school voucher program.

The $44 billion plan is the last Holcomb will sign before his term concludes at the end of 2024.

The biggest chunk of the budget is dedicated to K-12 education — accounting for nearly $21 billion, or 47%, of all appropriations.
