BRUSHY PRAIRIE - Prairie Heights Community Schools have announce the top of the class for the Class of 2023.
The Prairie Heights High School Guidance and Registrar said Tuesday that the Valedictorian is Connor Keesler, and Salutatorian is Leyton Byler.
Valedictorian Connor Keesler is the son of Corey and Pamela Keesler of Lagrange. Connor will be attending Purdue University, Lafayette and will major in Agriculture education. He hopes to return to Prairie Heights someday and teach in the Agriculture department.
Salutatorian Leyton Byler is the son of Brent and Robin Byler of Lagrange. Leyton will be attending Trine University next fall where he will further his education studying finance and continue his athletic career playing men's tennis. During his time at Trine he plans to gain as much hands-on experience as possible, through internships within the Angola community, clubs that will further his outreach and relationships, and honors programs/groups that will offer him opportunities to further enrich his education and ethical understanding of his future career field."
