INDIANAPOLIS - Hoosiers will be paying lower prices for gas than the national average as we start the week.

he average price of gas in Indiana stands at $3.62 a gallon, which is five cents lower than the national average of $3.67 a gallon.

As the week starts, Indiana’s average price was also nine cents lower than a week ago, 18-cents higher than a month ago, and 30-cents lower than a year ago.

The average price of diesel fuel in Indiana Sunday was $4.26 a gallon, a penny lower than Saturday. It was also three cents lower than a week ago, nine-cents lower than a month ago, and 67-cents lower than a year ago.
