Warmer temperatures will build across the region today with much above normal temperatures approaching the 80 degree mark for most locations by Thursday.

The National Weather Service says a warm front will provide a slight chance of showers and storms tonight into Thursday, with showers and scattered thunderstorms moving in for Thursday night.

Showers continue into Friday as cooler air filters into the area, with another round of rain showers for Friday night along with cooler temperatures.
