Center Township, OH - An single car crash has resulted in a woman dying at the scene of the accident.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says "impairment driving and failure to wear a seat belt" appear to have reportedly played a role in the death of a woman who died after her car left the road and slammed into a tree late Sunday evening.
Reports indicate the crash took place at around 11 p.m. on State Route 575 near County Road G in Williams County's Center Township. Investigators say the woman was driving south when she drove off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
The woman’s identity has not yet been released as many of her next of kin are still be notified by authorities.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say she was the only occupant of the vehicle during the incident.
Center Township is one of the twelve townships of Williams County, Ohio.
