BUTLER , IN – A DeKalb County teen was injured after crashing a go car into a tree.
Investigative reports indicate that 13-year-old Bailey Harger of Butler crashed a go-cart when trying to maneuver around a tree.
Authorities say the go-cart hit a tree on a property in the 6600 block of County Road 64 near Butler.
Harger was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, but reportedly not wearing a helmet.
She sustained injuries to her ribs.
Harger was transported by EMS to a hospital for further evaluation.
