MIDDLEBURY – A Shipshewana woman was injured in a two vehicle crash Wednesday morning north of Middlebury.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 20 year old Daniel Luna De Paz of Elkhart was driving east on State Road 120 at 7:44 AM Wednesday, and was attempting to turn north on State Road 13. De Paz turned in front of a westbound vehicle, driven by 56 year old Jennifer Cook of Shipshewana, and the vehicles collided. Cook was taken to Elkhart General Hospital to be treated for neck, chest and
back pain.
De Paz was given citations for never receiving a license, no insurance and failure to yield the right of way.
