INDIANAPOLIS – There were 58 new cases of coronavirus in Northeast Indiana as of Thursday afternoon.
The Indiana State Department of Health says 4 new cases were reported in LaGrange County. That makes 464 people who have the virus and 6 people who have died.
In Noble County there were 4 new cases, making 451 residents who have coronavirus and 28 people who have died. Steuben County has 1 new case. 124 people have tested positive and 2 people have died.
DeKalb County has no new cases of COVID-19. There are 159 people who have the virus and there have been 4 deaths. Elkhart County is reporting 48 new cases, which makes 3,133 people who have coronavirus. 43 people have died.
Statewide in Indiana, 453 more cases of coronavirus were detected. There are now 46,387 individuals who have the virus. There were also 13 more deaths, which means 2,469 Hoosiers who have died from coronavirus.
The State Department of Health says 496,835 people have been tested for coronavirus with 9.3 percent of the tests coming back as positive.
