STROH, IN - A traffic stop on Friday has led to the arrest of two men on multiple drug related charges.
Deputies with the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation in the area of County Road 1170 East and County Road 420 near Stroh, Indiana. The driver, identified as Kyle Ferrell, age 27, was found to be operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and he was taken into custody.
Investigators say as Ferrell exited the vehicle, deputies observed a hypodermic needle sitting in the driver’s seat. Reports indicate a passenger, identified as Jason Tuttle, age 33, was also found to be in possession of hypodermic needles and suspected methamphetamine.
While searching the vehicle it was discovered that both Ferrell and Tuttle were found to be in possession of a large amount of counterfeit money.
Both men were arrested and transported to the LaGrange County jail. Ferrell was charged with one count of Driving While Suspended-Prior, Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and Counterfeiting. Tuttle was charged with one count of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and Counterfeiting.
