(ANGOLA) - Steuben County Treasurer LeAnn Boots says 2026 property tax statements have now been mailed and should begin arriving in mailboxes soon.
The first installment is due May 11, with the second payment due Nov. 10.
County taxpayers are reminded that no second bill will be mailed for the fall installment, so the statement arriving now should be kept for both payment dates.
For added convenience, the Treasurer's Office says online payment options are available through the Treasurer's Department section of the Steuben County website.
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to watch the mail, review their bill promptly and note both due dates now, since only one statement will be issued this tax cycle.
