(ANGOLA) - The Steuben County Sheriff's Office has received multiple reports of mail and packages being stolen, with some items later found discarded along local roadways. The incidents are believed to have occurred overnight from Saturday, the 15th, into Sunday, the 16th.
Affected areas include the Lake James Golf Course, Crooked Lake, the Cranstons Reef area of Otter Lake, and CR 100 N east of Angola.
Anyone who is missing mail or has information about suspicious vehicles or activity is urged to contact the Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau at 260-668-1000, Ext. 5224.
