(LENAWEE COUNTY) - Prosecutors say a Michigan woman whose disappearance remained unsolved for more than three years died from strangulation and blunt force trauma, testimony revealed in the murder trial of her husband.

Dee Warner, 52, vanished from her Lenawee County home in April 2021. Her body was discovered in August 2024 welded inside an anhydrous ammonia tank on property owned by her husband, Dale Warner, authorities said.

Dale Warner, 58, is charged with murder and tampering with evidence.

During the second day of testimony, prosecutors described what they called a pattern of stalking and marital conflict leading up to Dee Warner's disappearance. Witnesses included sheriff's deputies and Warner's son, Zack Bock, who worked at the family's farm chemical and trucking business.

Bock testified that his mother had discussed selling her share of the business before she went missing.

The trial is continuing this week in Lenawee County Circuit Court.
