(ANGOLA) - Angola's Heritage Club will host a Valentine's Day Party, Potluck and Dance at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 13, offering members a chance to celebrate with music, shared food and Valentine exchanges.
Ayreal Lanman, the club's programs and communications coordinator, said the potluck is always a popular draw, with members bringing a wide variety of homemade dishes.
The Heritage Club, which serves adults 55 and older, also has several events planned for March. Those include a local history presentation on Pleasant Lake on March 2, a wildlife rehabilitation presentation and supply drive with Werling Wildlife Rehabilitation on March 6, and a live performance by Embassy Theatre artists on March 12.
The Embassy Theatre performance is part of a grant-funded series that will bring monthly arts programming to the club through August.
