(LIMA) - A Dayton man is facing serious drug charges after a multi-agency investigation led to the seizure of a large amount of methamphetamine in Allen County.
The Allen County Sheriff's Office says investigators with the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force received information that 37-year-old Gregory Napier was traveling to the area to distribute meth. Deputies located Napier in Jackson Township and began an investigation with task force officers.
Authorities say the investigation uncovered approximately two pounds, or 907 grams, of methamphetamine, along with $1,010 in cash. Napier was taken into custody and booked into the Allen County Jail.
He is facing a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, involving more than 100 times the bulk amount. The case remains under investigation.
