ANGOLA – Cameron Memorial and F&M Bank leaders recently joined together as F&M presented the hospital with a generous donation of $50,000 to the Cameron Education and Innovation Center.
The Archbold, Ohio based bank owned by Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc (Nasdaq: FMAO) has a strong commitment to supporting education, innovation and economic growth in our community.
The Cameron Education and Innovation Center will be home to a multitude of educational, simulation and training opportunities including a partnership between Cameron and Trine University, where the school will host its clinical and didactic portion of their Associates of Science in Nursing program.
Cameron also plans to engage with local schools, first responders and community members alike, allowing access to this unique environment supporting education and hands-on training that will benefit our region.
"Education is the cornerstone of our society, and we believe in investing in programs that nurture learning and creativity,” said Lars Eller, president & CEO, F&M Bank.

Angie Logan, CEO and President of Cameron added that “the Cameron Education and Innovation Center and our partners at Trine will allow students from all over, especially within Steuben County, to well-position themselves to take advantage of the demand for healthcare professionals, find employment within the region, and find a rewarding career that allows them to directly give back to their community.”
The 3-story, 32,000-square-foot education and innovation facility will include multiple classrooms, four simulation rooms, two control rooms for the simulation rooms, one debrief room, a ten-bed skills lab, and offices for Trine faculty, Cameron educators and staff.
