ANGOLA - The city of Angola has been ranked as the third Top Micropolitan by Number of Projects.

Site Selection Magazine ranked Angola third for their "Top Micropolitan of 2023," with Cullman, Alabama ranked second and Findley, Ohio was ranked first.

The site also ranked states as a whole with Ohio in the top spot, Georgia in the number two spot and Indiana sitting at number three.

The City of Angola and the Steuben County Economic Development Corporation proudly announced the ranking in a press release on Friday, March 1.

"This marks the highest-ranking Angola has ever received..." said a press release from the city's Economic Development and Planning Department.

"Mayor Martin expressed his pride in our stakeholder’s hard work in creating a high-quality living environment in Angola. We extend our gratitude to all those who have contributed to making Angola a top contender nationwide."
