Wednesday, June 10, 2020

The potential for severe weather will be prominent for much of the day today across the tri-state region, particularly this afternoon following a night of storms and gusty conditions on Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are possible for much of today, mainly after 4 P.M. with high temperatures reaching into the mid 80's. Gusty winds are also expected, varying from 15 to 20 mph.

However, the hot and humid conditions witnessed over the past several days will ease some on Thursday, and through much of the weekend with mostly sunny skies expected and with highs in the upper 60s and low to mid 70s.
