A heightened attention is being shown this Primary Election with coronavirus concerns still resides among the masses, and with that mail-in ballots or absentee voting has become quite possible the most popular it ever has been.
With that increased focus, county election boards and clerks are stepping up efforts to get those ballots counted in a timely manner on Tuesday in Steuben, DeKalb, LaGrange, and Noble counties.
People wishing to still have their vote counted via absentee or mail in have until noon Tuesday to get their ballots to their local clerk’s office in order to be counted.
Voters may deliver their ballot to the county clerk’s office by hand prior to Election Day. Those wishing to find their county clerk’s contact information can visit IndianaVoters.com.
On Tuesday, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. If voters have questions, they are invited to call the Hoosier Voter Hotline at 866-IN-1-VOTE.
