Students from Forever Improving Steuben County (FIST) will be knocking on doors in Angola and Fremont on October 16, 2019 to trick-or-treat for canned goods. FIST will visit the Hamilton area on October 25. Residents are encouraged to leave on a porch light that evening, or drop off donations between 8:30am and 4:30pm at the Steuben County Community Foundation office. Angola donations will benefit Project Help, and Fremont goods will be donated to Fremont Community Church. SCCF is located at 1701 North Wayne Street in Angola. FIST is SCCF’s youth philanthropy group, with students from Angola, Fremont, and Hamilton school ranging in age from 13-18. FIST members work to promote community volunteering and engage other youth in philanthropy.
