The persistent rain shows for the day today will usher in much cooler temperatures for the weekend, however conditions are predicted to be mostly dry the immediate future.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures today will gradually drop down from the mid 60's into the mid 30's tonight and usher in highs of the low to mid 50's for the weekend and early into next week.

The early part of early next week looks to remain mainly dry as well for the Columbus Day Holiday, before a chance of rain showers return to the forecast on Tuesday.
