Police raided a closed Fort Wayne clinic early Thursday morning where a late doctor performed abortions.

It was at 2210 Inwood Drive in Fort Wayne that officers served a warrant at Dr. Ulrich Klopfer's now-closed clinic just shortly after 10 A.M., all coming after an investigation of the late doctor's practices were called into question by both the Indiana and Illinois Attorney General.

The raid comes in response after more than 2,000 medically preserved fetal remains were found last week at the Illinois home of Klopfer, who died back on September 3rd.

Authorities are searching the facility to make sure that the abortions Klopfer had performed had no fetal remains being stored at the former clinics.
