(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion is gearing up for its biggest indoor track and field season yet, with an expanded schedule and a slate of championship events set to draw top athletes to Indianapolis in early 2026.

Competition runs from January through March and includes five regular-season collegiate meets, all held over two days on Fridays and Saturdays. Each meet already has at least 20 teams committed, and a new addition--the Heartland Invitational--joins the calendar February 13th and 14th.

One of the season's highlights returns February 21st and 22nd, when the pavilion hosts the USATF Combined Events Championship for the second straight year. The meet serves as a qualifying event for the 2026 World Championships in Poland and is expected to bring elite national competitors to the city during a crucial qualification window.

The venue will also once again host the Big Ten Indoor Championships from February 26th through the 28th. Last year's meet delivered strong attendance, national exposure, and multiple records. New to the lineup this year is the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championship, scheduled for March 1st and 2nd--marking the first time the conference has chosen Indianapolis for its indoor title event.

High school athletes will also take center stage. The pavilion will host four Hoosier State Relay Qualifier meets in March, the most ever at the site, leading up to the Hoosier State Relays on March 28th.

Organizers say the growing schedule reflects the venue's rising profile in the sport.

The full season begins January 16th and runs through late March, positioning the Fall Creek Pavilion as a major Midwest hub for indoor track and field at the collegiate, professional, and high school levels.
