(FREMONT) - Governor Mike Braun's office has released more information about his trip through northeast Indiana last week, including stops in Steuben, LaGrange, Noble and DeKalb counties.

In Steuben County, Braun toured Cardinal Glass in Fremont and met with business and community leaders. The governor's office says the discussion focused on the company's operations and local energy needs.

The Steuben County stop was not publicly announced ahead of time, and the local meetings were not open to the public or media.

Braun also visited the Community Health Center of LaGrange County in Shipshewana, where the governor's office says he toured the facility and took part in a discussion about the center's work serving local families.

In Noble County, Braun visited Enzyme Solutions in Garrett and discussed regional lake and water-quality priorities.

Braun also stopped in DeKalb County, where he met in Auburn with local law-enforcement officials, animal-control leaders and community advocates for a roundtable discussion on puppy mills, animal welfare and enforcement issues.

The northeast Indiana swing also included a stop in Fort Wayne, where Braun attended the announcement that Do it Best Group is relocating the True Value world headquarters from Chicago to Fort Wayne.
