(ANGOLA) - The host Trine softball team's postseason is still going after the Lady Thunder swept Loras College 6-5 and 9-0 on the final day of the 2026 NCAA Division III Regional. In game one, the Lady Thunder scored 2 runs in the top of the seventh inning to get the win. At the plate Emma Lee had 4 RBI on the day and Tyra Marcum had 3 RBI. Trine is now 36-5 on the season and will now head to the Super Regional round for the fifth straight year. The Lady Thunder will host the Super Regional and will take on Muhlenberg College Thursday at 2 PM. Game two of the best of three series will be on Friday at 1 PM.
