(WATERLOO) - Investigators continue working to determine what caused a large apartment fire in Waterloo last week, and authorities are now offering a reward for information.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal is continuing its investigation into the fire at Knoll Creek Apartments. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information related to the case.
The American Red Cross and New Hope Christian Center initially helped shelter seven residents on the night of the fire and provided food assistance.
Red Cross officials have assisted about 25 residents over the past week. Support efforts have included health services, help replacing medications lost in the fire, and mental health assistance for residents affected by the incident.
