(INDIANA) - All Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles branches and offices are closed Monday as dangerous winter weather continues to impact the state.
The BMV announced the statewide closure for Monday, Jan. 26, citing hazardous road and weather conditions. Officials say customers who had scheduled driving skills exams or branch appointments will be contacted to reschedule once offices reopen.
While in-person services are unavailable, the BMV's Contact Center remains open during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Customers can reach the Contact Center at 888-692-6841.
Many services are also still available online through the myBMV website, allowing customers to complete select transactions without visiting a branch.
State officials encourage customers to use online services when possible and to avoid unnecessary travel during severe weather conditions. The BMV has not yet announced when branches will reopen.
