Friday was a great night of softball for both the Angola Lady Hornets and the Prairie Heights Lady Panthers.

Angola had its second night in a row for winning after coming off of Thursday’s win over West Noble 3-1.

Friday night Angola defeated Fort Wayne Concordia 7-2.

It was also a winning night for the Prairie Heights Lady Panther who crossed the boarder to take on the Edon Blue Bombers.

Pitchers Emily McCrea and Madison Strater pitched a no run game allowing the Panthers to shutout Edon 17-0.

Emma Allen was a big hitter for Prairie Heights with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs.

Prairie Heights Coaching Staff remarked in a social media post, "It was a huge TEAM win," adding "The girls hit the ball hard, ran the bases aggressively, had our pitcher’s backs, and had a whole lotta fun doing it."
