Cleveland, Ohio – Trine University's figure skating team made history at the 2022 Spartan Classic hosted by Case Western Reserve University, earning a program high score and becoming the champions of a conference competition for the first time in program history.
At the first intercollegiate Midwest conference competition of the year, the Thunder earned a total of 275.0 points, gained from numerous podium placements by team members, including first place finishes by Trine skaters.
Trine University Figure Skating is looking forward to their next conference competition, the Bronco Challenge Cup, which will be held from February 3-5, 2023 in Kalamazoo, Mich., hosted by Western Michigan University.
