UNDATED - Today is the first official day of practice for most high school sports in the state of Indiana.

Athletes around the Hoosier state will be in the training room and on the practice field for their first mandatory practice of the fall sports season. At most every school, students will need a copy of a recent physical on file, which can also be brought with them to their first practice.

It is also important for young athletes to remember to keep their bodies hydrated with water throughout the day and hours leading up to practice.
