The FW Komets are the Western Conference Hockey Champions

FORT WAYNE, IN - After a comeback victory in Game 4 Tuesday night, the Fort Wayne Komets are the Western Conference Hockey Champions!

The Komets fought back from a 2-0 deficit, finally winning 3-2. As a result, the Fort Wayne Komets will represent Indiana in their FIRST EVER KELLY CUP FINALS and their first championship series in 9 years.

The Komets will begin game 1 of the Kelly cup series this Friday against South Carolina. Tickets for that game will go on sale starting Thursday morning at 10 a.m. for season ticket holders, and Friday at 10 a.m. to the general public.

Officials say they will be open at full capacity for Friday night’s event.

The Komets will be going for their 10th championship.
