More Warm Temperatures For Saturday Will Bring Possible Thunderstorms
By: Sheila McCrea - Saturday, April 15, 2023

Unseasonably warm temperatures can be expected again today with an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm possible (mainly along and east of I-69).

The National Weather Service says Chances of showers and isolated thunderstorms increase late tonight, and showers and thunderstorms are likely on Sunday.

A few thunderstorms on Monday could produce locally strong wind gusts and isolated hail, but confidence in isolated severe weather occurring is quite low.

A strong cold front pushing through on Sunday will bring much colder conditions to start the week. Along with the colder air will come the potential of rain showers mixing with or changing to snow showers Sunday night into early Monday morning.

A dusting of snow accumulation is possible in some areas, but no travel impacts are expected at this time.
