ANGOLA, IN - The upcoming Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is one of the extended days the toboggan at Pokagon State Park is open beyond normal hours.

According to the Steuben County Tourism Bureau, this Monday, January 16th, those who come to Pokagon have the opportunity to enjoy a ride down the state's only refrigerated toboggan from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The cost is $20 per hour per toboggan and each toboggan holds up to four people.

In order to ride, you must wear gloves. The regular park admission fee of $7 per Indiana vehicle and $9 per out-of-state vehicle also will be charged.

The toboggan is open Saturdays and Sundays through February 26th, with additional special hours on Presidents' Day February 20th.
