HAMILTON, IN - Hamilton will again play host as the annual Jack Gibson Memorial Scholarship Polar Bear Plunge returns this weekend.

The annual event is set for Saturday, December 31st, at the public beach on Hamilton Lake.

Each year, dozens of brave-hearted and thick-skinned souls brave the chilly waters Hamilton Lake.

Sponsored by the Hamilton Lions Club, the icy dip begins at 2 PM.

There's no cost to participate, but donations benefit the Jack Gibson Memorial Scholarship, which helps local students seeking educational opportunities after high school.
