A major winter storm remains possible Thursday night through Saturday.

The National Weather Service says snow combined with very strong winds and bitterly cold temperatures will lead to dangerous driving conditions Friday into Saturday.

In addition the Winter Storm Watch remains in effect for all of the area.

Forecasters say a very dangerous combination of snow, blowing snow, dangerous wind chills, strong gusts, and blizzard or near-blizzard conditions are expected.

Officials are making recommendations to make final preparations today in advance of this storm for yourself, your family, and your pets.
