FREMONT - The Fremont School District is moving forward with plans to convert an old locker room into work space for students.

The elementary in Fremont will be renovating its locker rooms into workspaces. The two locker rooms at the elementary school are reportedly not in the best condition, and the new spaces will open up an opportunity for students to get more individualized help.

The renovation approved by the school board will also provide two new staff restrooms, a laundry facility and an office for the physical education teacher.
