ALBION - One person has died who was driving a vehicle which was involved in a Friday morning accident involving a school bus in Noble County.

Eye witnesses reported an accident involving a school bus in Noble County that reportedly took place on 500 going toward 8 in the Central Noble School District. There were not any students on the bus as Central Noble was on a two-delay and eventually canceled school on Friday.

The bus driver was reportedly “testing” the roads in an effort to make an accurate call on the school closure for the district.

Sources have revealed that a person in another vehicle involved in the crash died. The individual was dead upon impact.

The driver of the school bus was reportedly not injured.

The roadway in the area was blocked off in both directions with several emergency response vehicles on the scene Friday morning.

The Noble County Sheriffs Department was contacted about this incident; however, no other details have been released at this time.
